The Future’s Bright…

Whilst Fisher Alvin Group has a proud history spanning over 100 years it remains very much forward thinking. Whilst this future will include new designs and enhancements to its existing product ranges it will be built on a strong foundation of staff development, training and progression.

This is clearly in evidence right now with two of the team who are currently working with Heart of Worcestershire College on their NVQ qualifications.

Jack Blackwell joined the company  18 months ago and is undertaking an apprenticeship in Business and Administration. With a mix of on the job training, project work and regular assessments the company is supporting Jack towards his NVQ Level 3.

Similarly Chris Williamson, who is the Warehouse Manager for the company, is complementing his normal day to day activities with a Business and Administration NVQ 2 course that will develop a range of skills that he is already putting into practice each and every day.

Both members of staff get time away from their roles to complete this work and are supported by mentors and regular visits from the college.

The future is definitely bright for Fisher Alvin.
