Fisher Alvin offers full height industrial self-closing gates providing safe access from ladders. The gates have been designed to comply with BS 4211: Specification for Permanently Fixed Ladders. The BS 4211 standard requires gates on ladders to offer the same level of protection as EN 14122-3 compliant guardrail.
Being 1100mm high and including an aluminium toe board for added protection. The gates are fully adjustable and can accommodate openings up to 1m.
Fisher Alvin full height self-closing safety gates can suit openings up to 1m wide. The gates are available in Galvanised Steel or Powder Coated in Safety Yellow.
The gates can be retro-fitted to existing fixed structures, where opening protection is required, e.g. guardrails or roof edge protection systems already installed on the roof.
