Getting the hang of it
We were approached by a customer who had seen our range of Shop Fit Kits and was looking for help designing a bespoke freestanding garment rail solution.
The Problem
The customer had seen our Shop Fit Kits online, as well as our Free Design Service, and got in touch hoping that we could help build two bespoke key garment rails for a new line of products in his golf shop.
The brief was pretty straightforward, but one of the customer’s requirements was that each unit needed to have two glass shelves and enough space for at least 70 different items. The units also needed to be relatively low level and in keeping with the rest of the shop.
The Solution
From the customer’s brief and rough sketches, our design team set to work designing the shop key fits, identifying the best components to create the stands. We then mocked this up at our warehouse and agreed on the final design with the customer.
We cut the tube free of charge as standard, then sent it all off to our powder coaters for a black finish that would fit in nicely with the rest of the store.
The Result
Within five days everything was back from the powder coaters and – following a quality check – we carefully wrapped everything and dispatched it to the customer.
Thanks to the simple design of our modular key clamps, the customer was able to put everything together themselves in just 30 minutes using just an Allen key. They were delighted with the final product and as you can see in these pictures, it looks fantastic.
