Little Things Add Up A Key Clamps & Galvanised Steel Tube Case Study

In one of our more unique projects, we were sought out by a client looking for help building an effective netting solution for butterflies.

The Problem

The customer had a large greenhouse structure, inside which he was planning to breed and raise butterflies. They were looking for a frame around which they could place netting to safely keep their butterflies inside.

The Solution

We received simple drawings and dimensions from the customer, from which we were able to design the right solution from Key Clamps and Galvanised Steel Tubes. The modular nature of these fittings means it’s easy to design a sturdy and durable tubular structure for almost any need.

We put together a bill of quantities for the customer and provided a quote, which the customer was happy with. From there, we picked components and cut the tube, packaging it up and getting it out to the customer promptly.

The Result

The straightforward design of our key clamps meant the customer could easily build the structure themselves, attaching the fine netting and creating a system that ensures the butterflies are kept safely inside.
