Key Clamps & Galvanised Steel Tube Project Delivered FAST!

We were approached by a long-term customer who needed a new railing system retrofitting to his existing handrail system.

The Problem

The existing handrail system was a metal barrier designed to protect a particular area in their building. However, the customer identified that additional support was required. Not wanting to completely replace the system, they sought out a solution that could be retrofitted to the existing barrier.

As the existing system was black and yellow, the retrofitted barrier needed to match this, and this was a crucial part of their project.

The Solution

Having worked with us for many years, the customer trusted us to supply an effective system first time. We knew that a handrail system made from key clamps and galvanised steel tubes would be the ideal solution, as the simple and modular design makes it easy to retrofit components to older systems, even fabricated ones.

To ensure there was no confusion between the powder-coated black and yellow fittings, we took particular care with picking and packing, wrapping each component individually.

The Result

From the date of order, we were able to get the first batch of components to the customer within 2 weeks. The customer was delighted with both the quality and speed of the service, as well as with how easy the system was to fit.

Following the first order, we received an identical order for another of the client’s sites, so it’s safe to say they were happy with the final result.
