Key Clamp RK-R90 90 Degree Corner Section: 90 degree corner section for Fisher Alvin key clamp handrail kits, in size 7 (42.4mm) or size 8 (48.3mm) galvanised tube, for where the run turns 90 degrees. Kits are pre-configured bolt-down handrail for walkways, platforms, plant areas and building approaches.

Upright posts are supplied to give a finished handrail height of 1100mm, and horizontal tubes are supplied in pairs. All fittings and tube are galvanised.
Features
- 1100mm finished height. Upright posts are supplied to give a finished handrail height of 1100mm, with uprights at 1300mm centres.
- Rails in pairs. Horizontal tubes come in pairs for the top and mid rail.
- Bolt down, no welding. You bolt the kit down and tighten the fittings with a hexagon key. No welding or hot works.
- Modular. A damaged section can be replaced on its own, unlike a fabricated rail.
- Extend later. Kits use the same key clamp fittings and galvanised tube we sell loose, so you can extend or alter the run with standard parts.
- Galvanised. Hot-dip galvanised as standard. Powder coating is available: ask at quote stage.
Standards and Testing
Fittings are malleable iron castings, manufactured in excess of BS 6681 (ISO 5922) and BS 2789 (ISO 1083), with Dacromat coated, case hardened set screws. Fittings and tube are hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. The design load for your site and the finished handrail must be checked by whoever signs it off.
Often Used With
Build the run from the other kit sections: RK-RMS mid section, RK-RES end section, RK-RDS end D section, RK-HRP horizontal rail pair and RK-A10 wall termination brackets. Add an A11 kick plate base plate on roofs and mezzanines, and close an access opening with a self-closing gate, which closes automatically behind the user.

Measure the run and note the ends, corners and any point where the rail meets a wall. Choose size 7 or size 8, add the sections to your quote and tell us the surface you are bolting to.
