Self-closing Single Gate: a spring loaded single gate that closes off the gap in a guardrail or handrail where people pass through: ladder tops, work platforms, mezzanine access points and walkways. Push it open, walk through, and it returns to closed on its own, so the opening is never left open.
Hot dip galvanised suits outdoor use, rooftops and wet areas. For a gate that stands out next to traffic routes or hazardous zones, choose the safety yellow version.

Features
- Self-closing. Spring loaded, so it closes automatically behind the user.
- Cut to size. Width is fully adjustable within the gate's range, so an opening measured a few centimetres out is not a problem.
- Left or right handed. Reversible hinges let the gate hang on either side of the opening.
- Adjustable closing. Hinge tension adjusts so the gate closes completely every time.
- Fits what you have. Mounts onto key clamp handrail, round or square posts, or a flat surface, with U-bolts, washers and nuts. No welding.
- Inside or out. Suitable for internal and external use.
- Complete. Supplied with its hinges, bolts and fixings.
Standards and Testing
The gates comply with the test requirements of EN 13374 Class A and EN 14122-3. In life cycle testing the range withstood 50,000 open and close cycles through 90 degrees. Test reports are available on request. If your specification calls up a particular standard, send it with your enquiry and we will confirm what the gate meets.
