A full height self-closing gate for the top of a fixed ladder, a roof hatch or a raised platform. At 1100mm high with an aluminium toe board, it matches the guardrail either side, and it closes automatically behind the user, so the opening is never left open.
Safety yellow withstands outdoor conditions and makes the gate easier to see in busy or low-light areas. Also available galvanised.

Features
- Self-closing. Spring loaded, so it closes automatically behind the user. Nobody has to remember to put a chain or bar back.
- Full height. At 1100mm high it is designed to give full torso protection where there is a vertical drop.
- Toe board. The aluminium toe board helps stop tools, materials and debris going through the gap at floor level.
- Slam plate. Makes sure the gate latches securely as it closes, including in high-traffic or exposed positions.
- Cut to size. Fully adjustable: the width can be cut to fit the opening.
- Left or right handed. Reversible hinges let the gate hang on either side of the opening.
- Fits what you have. Retro-fits to existing structures such as guardrail or roof edge protection, and fits round or square surfaces. Quick and easy to assemble.
- Inside or out. Suitable for internal and external use.
Standards and Testing
The gates have been designed to comply with BS 4211, the specification for permanently fixed ladders, and tested to BS 4211:2008 and EN 14122-3:2016. They also comply with the test requirements of EN 13374 Class A and EN 14122-3. In life cycle testing the range withstood 50,000 open and close cycles through 90 degrees, and it has been salt spray tested for corrosion resistance (672 hours). Test reports are available on request.
